We are – consciously or unconsciously – constantly engaged with design. When we furnish our homes, when we choose educational apps or cell phone games, or when we stand in front of our closet in the morning: We make design decisions every day.
The storyphone, which used to stand in many branch banks and shorten children’s waiting time, served as the inspiration. The Design Storyphone is aimed at young and old and tells the stories of well-known everyday products made in Switzerland. What they all have in common is the combination of inventive spirit and design quality.
The Design Storyphone is a project of the Swiss Design Embassy and aims to raise public awareness of the relevance and potential of design. During Zurich Design Weeks 2022, the prototype of the Design Storyphone has been testet at the Swiss Design Market Pop-up at Bahnhofstrasse 74.
